Getting Started: The Tamer's Brush
To begin crafting, you will need a Tamer's Brush. This tool can be acquired in two ways:
- Purchased: Sold by any standard Veterinarian or Animal Trainer NPC throughout the world for 50 Gold.
- Crafted: Master Tinkers can forge a Tamer's Brush using 4 Boards and 2 Cloth (Requires 35.0 - 85.0 Tinkering).
Pet Potions
Using standard Magery Reagents and Empty Bottles, Tamers can craft specialized potions designed specifically for their pets. Most of these require the Veterinary skill rather than Alchemy.

Age of Sosaria features an exclusive 20-Tier Cosmetic Dye System for pets. Crafting these dyes requires you to purchase basic "Dyes" from NPC vendors and combine them with gathered materials. The colors are broken down into three distinct tiers based on rarity.
Tier 1: Normal Colors
These basic hues are crafted using standard Magery Reagents. They are excellent for leveling up your Animal Lore skill.
- Red Pet Dye: 5 Bloodmoss
- Blue Pet Dye: 5 Nightshade
- Green Pet Dye: 5 Spiders Silk
- Yellow Pet Dye: 5 Sulfurous Ash
- Purple Pet Dye: 5 Black Pearl

Tier 2: Unique Colors
These vibrant, mid-tier dyes require raw gemstones mined by players.
