🛡️ The Warden (Chat Moderation)

The Warden is an automatic chat filter that watches everything said in-game and enforces a zero-tolerance policy on slurs and hate speech — no staff member has to be online for it to act.

📖 How It Works

Every line of speech is checked against a banned-phrase list. If you say something on that list, The Warden responds immediately and escalates with repeat offenses:

Offense Consequence
1st A private warning message. No public callout.
2nd A "FINAL WARNING" message to you, plus a server-wide broadcast naming you.
3rd Muted for 1 hour, plus a server-wide broadcast.
4th and beyond Jailed and muted for 24 hours — you're teleported to a holding cell and can't speak until your time is served.
  • Warnings decay: if you go 24 hours without another violation, your strike count quietly resets to zero.
  • Jail is real jail: when your 24-hour sentence ends, you're teleported back to wherever you were when you got jailed (or to Britain Bank if that location can't be restored).
  • Getting jailed by the Warden even earns you the (un-coveted) "The Warden's Wrath" achievement — zero points, pure infamy.
  • Staff can check on active mutes/warnings, manually lift a punishment, or reload the banned-phrase list, but the day-to-day enforcement runs entirely on its own.

Bottom line: keep the chat clean. The Warden doesn't sleep, doesn't need a staff member online, and doesn't give second chances after your second chance.
