The Crafter's Ring (Quest Guide)

The Crafter's Ring is an epic, four-part quest chain designed specifically for master artisans. By journeying into the deepest dungeons and uncovering the forbidden arts of the dark Lord Annatar, players can forge the legendary Annatar's Ring of Mastery.

To begin this monumental journey, seek out Loremaster Elrond and accept The Lost Knowledge.

Stage 1: The Lost Knowledge

• Objective: Track down the ruins and slay the Corrupted Elven Smiths.
• Required Item: 1x Torn Page of Annatar's Ledger

Greetings, master artisan. The dark Lord Annatar once taught forbidden smithing arts to the ancient Elves. If we are to recover these secrets, we need a torn page from his lost ledger...

Stage 2: Heart of the Mountain

• Objective: Venture into the deepest, darkest dungeons of the world (such as Destard or Covetous) and locate a Mithril Vein. You must mine the vein to extract the raw ore.
• Required Item: 1x Unrefined Mithril Ore
• Warning: Be warned! The dwarves dug too greedily and too deep. Striking the Mithril Vein is highly likely to awaken a terrifying shadow and flame—the Awakened Balrog! Bring an escort or prepare for the fight of your life.

Stage 3: Fires of Creation

• Objective: Standard forges cannot melt primordialmithril. You must take the Unrefined Mithril Ore into the absolute depths of the Fire Dungeon.
• Action: Locate the glowing Primordial Anvil deep within the dungeon. Double-click the anvil while holding the ore in your pack to smelt it down.
• Required Item: 1x Mithril Band (Blank)

Stage 4: The Binding

• Objective: Now that you hold the blank Mithril Band, you must gather the ingredients necessary for Elrond to perform the awakening ritual.
• Required Items:
  • 1x Mithril Band
  • 50x Black Pearl
  • 50x Bloodmoss
  • 1x Daemon's Blood (lootable from high-tier Daemons)

The Reward: Annatar's Ring of Mastery

Once the ritual is complete, Elrond will hand you your reward.
