Mythic Boss: The Abyssal Leviathan
The oceans of Sosaria are no longer safe. Stirring from the deepest trenches, the Abyssal Leviathan threatens to drag every ship in the realm into the dark. Fishermen whisper that the only way to draw the beast to the surface and end its reign of terror is to follow the deranged instructions of The Crazy Old Corsair.
📜 The Abyssal Terror Questline
To face the Leviathan, you must assist the Corsair in thinning the waters. You can find him rambling in the coastal Docks.
Part 1: Thinning the Waters
- Objective: Prove your dominance over the seas by hunting down and slaying 20 Krakens.
- Reward: 1,500 Gold and progression to Part 2.
Part 2: The Deep Magic
- Objective: The Leviathan will only surface for a worthy challenger who possesses the abyssal magic of the deep. You must slaughter 50 Sea Serpents to acquire the elusive Tear of the Sea.
Part 3: The Lantern of the Deep
- Objective: Locate the mystical glowing Lantern of the Deep in the pirate coves. If you drop the Tear of the Sea directly into the lantern's flames, the magical flare will drag the Leviathan to the surface!
- Note: The Lantern has a 5-minute cooldown between summons to refuel.
WARNING
The Leviathan's thick hide provides incredible Physical and Cold resistances. Mages and Archers should rely heavily on Fire-based attacks to boil the water and pierce its blubber.

The Leviathan is a master of its aquatic domain. It will use the water itself to crush you.

| Grasping Tentacles | The beast does not fight alone. It will frequently command massive, thrashing tentacles to erupt from the shoreline to block your escape routes and overwhelm you. |

- Mythic Cores: 5 to 10 randomly generated cores.
- Gold: ~1,500 Gold alongside a massive Rain of Gold spread across the floor.
