Chronos The Time Weaver

Chronos the Time Weaver is a Mythic-tier World Boss designed as an infinitely repeatable end-game raiding loop. Because Chronos resides outside of our standard timeline, players cannot stumble upon him in the wilderness; he must be manually summoned into the physical realm by completing a three-part quest chain.

Starting the Quest

To begin your hunt for Chronos, travel to the massive telescope at the Moonglow Observatory. There, you will find a rogue scholar named Elarion the Chronomancer. Double-clicking Elarion will open the quest interface and initiate Part 1 of his timeline stabilization research.

The 3-Part Quest Chain

Part 1: The Disturbance

Elarion needs proof that the temporal rifts are opening. He will task you with retrieving a Fractured Time Crystal.

  • How to complete: Hunt standard Wisps and Evil Mages in any dungeon. These creatures have naturally absorbed temporal magic and possess a 3% chance to drop a Fractured Time Crystal onto their corpse when slain.
  • Once you obtain the crystal, return it to Elarion to unlock Part 2.

Part 2: Thinning the Ranks

With proof established, Elarion realizes that Chronos's elite forces have already breached reality. He will task you with assassinating exactly 25 Evil Mage Lords.

  • How to complete: Travel into the deepest dungeons and slay 25 Evil Mage Lords. Your quest UI will naturally track your kills (e.g., 5/25).
  • The Reward: Upon returning victorious, Elarion will hand you the ultimate key: The Enchanted Sands of Time.

Part 3: The Summoning

With the Sands in your inventory, you are ready to face the boss.

  • How to complete: Travel deep into the jungles south of Trinsic until you locate the ancient standing stones. At the center of the stones sits the Summoning Hourglass.
  • Double-click the Hourglass. The server will automatically consume your Enchanted Sands, unleash a massive lightning storm, and summon Chronos into the arena!

Defeating Chronos

Chronos is a Mythic Overlord with over 18,000 HP and possesses unique A.I. mechanics, including massive temporal "Time Freezes" and a "Rewind" mechanic where he actively snapshots his HP and teleports backwards in time to heal himself during the fight.

Upon defeating him, the quest will automatically complete, and he will drop the following on his corpse:

  • Guaranteed Economy: 1,400 to 1,700 Gold.
  • Guaranteed Currency: 75 to 125 Sosarian Coins.
  • Guaranteed Progression: 5 to 10 Mythic Cores.

The Ultra-Rare Artifacts (4% Drop Chance)

Every single time Chronos is killed, he silently rolls a 4% chance to drop one of four incredibly powerful, highly-exclusive Legendary Artifacts directly into the corpse. Because the quest is repeatable, guilds are encouraged to farm Chronos daily to chase these items:

Artifact Name Item Type Primary Class Notable Stats
Spectacles of the Archmage Reading Glasses Mage / Tamer +10 Magery, +10 Int, 4 MR, 10% SDI, High Resists
Vanguard's Timewalker Boots Ninja Tabi Dexxer / Warrior +10 Dex, 5 Stamina Regen, 10% Swing Speed, 10% HCI
Cloak of the Void Ninja Cloak Thief / Assassin +10 Stealth, +10 Ninjitsu, 15% DCI, 10% Reflect Physical
The Timeless Amulet Necklace Crafter / T-Hunter +150 Luck, +5 All Stats, 10% Lower Reagent Cost

Concluding the Chain

After Chronos is dead, return to Elarion at the Moonglow Telescope one last time to turn in the completed Part 3 quest. He will reward you with 5,000 Gold and an exclusive decorative housing trophy: Chronos' Broken Hourglass.

You may then immediately restart the quest from Part 1.
