The Hooded Shroud of Shadows

⚔️ Quest Overview Difficulty: High (End-Game Content) Requirements: None to begin (Survivability strongly recommended) Final Reward: Token of the Void (Grants a Blessed, Tradeable Hooded Shroud based on your class) 📜 Step 1: The Scholar’s Secret Location: Umbra, Malas NPC: Maldrox the Scholar of Shadows

Maldrox has uncovered fragments of a forgotten legend but lacks the final piece. He entrusts you with Maldrox’s Sealed Letter and sends you in search of an exiled necromancer hiding near Deceit.

💀 Step 2: Bones of the Betrayer Location: Deceit Entrance NPC: Morrigan the Exiled

Morrigan agrees to help—but only if you prove your worth.

Objective

Hunt the undead within Deceit and recover the Bones of the Betrayer.

Task: Slay Liches inside Deceit Drop Chance: 10% (appears in corpse loot)

⚠️ Persistence is key—check every corpse.

Turn-In

Return the bones to Morrigan to receive the Exiled Necromancer’s Missive.

🔥 Step 3: Mark of the Abyss Location: Luna Outskirts, Malas NPC: Sir Gareth the Fallen

Sir Gareth reveals a grim truth: none may approach the Keeper of Shadows without bearing the Mark of the Abyss.

Objective

Prove your resilience to demonic forces.

Task: Slay 20 Daemons Suggested Location: Hythloth or other demonic strongholds Turn-In

Return to Gareth with:

The Missive Completion of the Daemon hunt

You will receive the Mark of the Abyss.

🕳️ Step 4: The Void’s Champion Location: Doom Entrance, Malas NPC: Keeper of Shadows

Sensing your mark, the Keeper grants you passage—but only true mastery will earn his reward.

Objective

Enter the Gauntlet of Doom and defeat its master.

Task: Slay the Dark Father Turn-In

Return to the Keeper of Shadows to receive the Token of the Void.
